‘Until you spread your wings, you have no idea how far you can fly’ – we have known this for years together but it is the pandemic of 2020 that has taught all of us- teachers, parents & students, in fact , the entire global community – how boosting up resilience, effort and aspiration can truly enhance our ability to survive.
Inspite of the school building being closed to students for the entire year, teachers have taken it upon themselves to reach out to every child and every parent. Whether it is the Wednesday tests, semester exams, assignments, intra & inter school activities, career and mental health issues, the school has tried to do more than what we would have been able to in normal circumstances.
The entire faculty have become willing learners, spending their after-school hours in creating interesting IT enabled teaching content, experimenting with and mastering new digital platforms and attending capacity building online sessions.
We feel humbled and gratified with all that we achieved this year. Also, it is heartening to see parents become equal partners with the school in these challenging times.
I strongly believe that with a positive outlook and hope in our hearts, we are capable of steering in the right direction, setting and achieving new goals and navigating through these challenging times. It has been proved yet again that time is the biggest healer and the greatest teacher! Our children have come out stronger and wiser in the course of the year- a bright future awaits them ! Let us all continue to collaborate as a global community to restore the balance of the universe for the sake of future generations.
