The World Dance Day was celebrated on 29 April 2019 with great enthusiasm. Various Activities were planned to mark the occasion. A workshop on Contemporary and Jazz styles of dance was organised and conducted by ex -students Antarviksha Parihar and Ridhi Jain. Various activities for the whole school were planned to mark the occasion. Students danced to rhythmic and vibrant music taught by the core team of the school Dance Club. Audio visuals on a variety of Indian dance styles were shown to the Junior school students. Ms Kanika Sachdeva Govi, Vice Principal DPS Rohini, in her address stressed on the importance of dance in one’s life. She further added that dance not only helps in invigorating the body but is also an excellent therapy for the mind. The programme culminated with a Flash Mob in which student dancers left the audience spell bound with their spontaneous energy. It was a truly enriching experience for one and all.
